Order of the Compulsive Disorder

Recently I was forwarded this article online that talks about the easy way to design. Although the "easy way to design" sometimes helps you get over a hump or a block when they do occur, but to be honest when it comes to good design there is no easy way around it. You can tell when a person is passionate about their work and when it basically becomes cookie cutter assembly line style. What leads me to this entry was that the "easy way" article described Marian Bantjes as a person who throws themselves into their work and is so detailed that it can burn you out and consume a lot of your time. Although that is true at times there is nothing to equal the gratification you get from undergoing such a laborious task. To look at her work and appreciate it to the point that I can see myself sitting there for hours working away lets me know that any artist that loves what they're doing wouldn't even think twice about it. Here are some samples I got from her site and for more just click here for Bantjes.

One of my favorite pieces. So simple but man thats a lot of work.
