Siempre En La Lucha, Save the Babies.
This Sunday morning I would like to inspire our readers to focus on the children around them and their relationships with them....
This is one of my favorite artist and authors of all time:
On Children
by Kahlil Gibran
Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself. They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
This is one of my favorite actors. Do the KNOWLEDGE to these clips and see if you can add it up.
The Devil's Advocate-To me this movies depicts a man taking the devil into hell through the virtue of integrity. And why was he successful in all his undertakings? Yes, my word is bond and bond is life. And I shall give my life before my word shall fail. Also the key of the wedding band, a symbol of LOVE, and UNIDAD which helped him master his own self.
Scent of a Woman--In this flick Al really touches my heart. As a man who was raised by Allah (in the name of Virtuous), I had guidance and support and can relate to peer pressure and the hardship of making the right decisions. He really BOMBS ASS and shows and proves that it only takes ONE and we are not alone.
City Hall--Hot Damn, This is crazy! This movie came out in 1980 and it reminds me of Obama's Inauguaration Speech where he said that it's up to us all. We can CHANGE... It's really JUST US and JUSTICE for ALL. What's really SAD is that our babies are still being killed by each other, the cops, and their loved ones. Nueva York STAND UP, we got work to do. Let's Build heaven on Earth, HERE and NOW.
Any Given Sunday--This is the best pep talk I've ever heard a coach give. This is the kind of motivational speech our babies need to hear everytime they're tested. Inch by inch, one by one, We make a Difference everyday.
Siempre En la Lucha for PEACE,
Your brother in the struggle,
Mahdi-Allah.

On Children
by Kahlil Gibran
You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls,For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let our bending in the archer's hand be for gladness,For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

If only we could live in Utopia for the sake of ourselves and the babies. The best we can do for the moment is educate and prepare our children for their future.
Real peace. Great clips and Gibran is truly a masterful writer.
Peace,
Sunez Allah
