Putting Work In

What a day to go paint. I mean, can it get any hotter, it was hot and humid and on top of that we had to take a break because the rain came down on us. We almost decided to do throwies over it if the rain didn't let up. A nice simple style piece - Vins & Jabs
This was something we've talked about doing just for fun since he hasn't done anything in about 13 years. So like when we started EOS back in 1989 in A&D we focused our energies on doing tees and graphics like the rest of our peers after we graduated in 91. Some time later we built it up and I remember when Scott used to come through the EOS office in the mid 90's to do business with our Japanese distributors when he first started 10DEEP. Years later here we are, still at it. Vins and SCM.
Man this was a lot of fun. Too many jokes, Wane had us laughin our ass off. The little kids were testing Wane's patience that day "Yo, stay out the frame B, I'm filmin' here". Enue, Wane, Doves, Vins and Gets.
A Fresh day it was, had a lot of different generations here this day so we decided to do everyones initials just to try and conserve space. Slin2, Deleye, Neo, Totem, Wane, Med, Serve, Zame, West, Pyscho, Dontay, Dezo, Vins, Dash, Risk, Sye, Gets, Serge, and Oas.

This wasn't really set up as a major production. It was more for fun but we got the chance to rock (even if on different days) the same wall together. Vins, Dan 1, Risk, Neo, Pero/Sye, Wane and A-Plus
Brand new funk for y'all. Gets, Pistol/Dontay TC-5, Vins, Bluster and Oas.
Another recent production production YZ TC-5, Oas, Pero/Sye, Cycle, Serve, Pus/Dontay, Mug/Dash, Gets, Neo and Vins
Same day just another wall TSpoon/Doc TC-5, Pero/Sye, Dezo and Neo.
A lot of legends here this weekend!! Frosty dedication, Bee3/Dontay TC-5, Gets, Risk, West, Virus and Vins.
This was a recent production that we pulled together. The line up goes as follows .... APlus/Enue, Virus, Knows, Sye, Psy/Doc, Vins and Rath.

NY-MG Life

We went out to celebrate Tahliem's Bday. Happy physical Brother!!!
Doin' it like we been doin' it, Daoud of Coup De Etat, Gamar & Tah, all love!!! Big John Deus, ITruth & Yerania debating on the pros/cons of Clinton/Obama.
Shan Boogie & Dominique . Really upset I won't be drinking and dancing to some bomb ass music in this man's backyard this year. Everyone always kept their days open to make sure to visit an Infamous Shan Boog's BBQ Spectactular.!! We'll dig up some pics just to let y'all know what you've missed if you've never been. First GoodWorld and now this......
The Lovely Sandy taking a moment to smile for the camera.
This is the look Gamar gave me when I told him I'll get him tees before he bounces to DR lol...(XL, no sweat bro!!)
One Year Older, the FAM celebrates with Tahliem at Blue Owl, Peace.
I regret missing a night like this. 2 of our fam who are the original dancers for Brand Nubian happened to be there the night they performed at The Knitting Factory on May 6th. Luckily someone else was present and they recorded this moment. You'll see ITruth and Tahleim doing the old routine in the background on the right of the screen. Ahh yes classic moments!!!!

Big Apple Block Party. If there is one thing you can look forward to in NYC when the summer rolls around it’s a BBQ. Now I’m talking about good music, good people and great food all outside for everyone to enjoy (and smell). Hell as soon as the weather hit the 70’s I could smell my local barbershop “Qing” on the asphalt. Some folks don’t need much of an invitation to fire up the grill. It’s something about the smell of burning charcoal with the Fresh Prince’s “summertime” playing in the background that brings a smile to my face.
It seems that the High Fructose folks at Snapple are putting on the 6th annual Big Apple BBQ Block Party. This two day affair (June 7-8) will take place around Madison Sq. Park in Manhattan. At 8 dollars a plate I’m sure we can all get down on this. So I’ll see you at around 2pm June 7th? Save me a Leg. - Dashaun Simmons of Dashaun World Inc.
This was a a great night. We went out to celebrate our boy Dan's BDay at Typhoon Lounge (on St. Marks btwn 1st and Ave. A) as well as link up with our peoples from Hawaii - The In4mation Crew. It's always a good time when you're able to get so many people together at one time, 503 Lab, Mothergreen and In4mation. We had a great time especially just catching up and having a few drinks.

Oh you know the drillzzz.....SAKE BOMBS!!!!!!!

Dan and Jazick in front of Typhoon's clowning while on our way to link up with In4mation at the next spot.
We're here enjoying the first drink of many that night. Look out in the near future for these boys cause they is on the rise!!!!
After hooking up at the Delancy Lounge and moving along to Niagra's for more of a low key feel, The In4mation Family
Heart of the City Tour - Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z
Recently I was fortunate enough to go and see this concert twice. Once in Miami and then the other was in Long Island at the Coliseum. Mary was no joke of course and Jay put on a great show getting the crowd involved. In Miami he had three special guest appearances by Young Jeezy, Timbaland and Kanye West who killed it with just two songs. I'm sure that when the tour rounds off in NYC at Madison Square it'll be another great show and who knows who might stop by.

Mary doing her thing

This is when Jay first comes on stage.

Mary & Jay doing "Can't knock the Hustle"

Money Over Broads.....You Got it - Fuck Bush (I just love all the middle fingers in the air!

Time for change people!!

A Tribute to BIGGIE.

Killing Time

Anyone who truly knows myself or the crew, knows that we have a lot of different tastes in music as well as having a lot of different friends in different circles, especially having gone to A&D High School. With that said, as of recent there has been talk of a reunion for Absolution but not in NYC rather in Miami Florida. They were one of my favorite Hardcore Punk bands back in the day and these pics are actually from some fanzines that I still have as well as vinyl and tape collection. I remember having the chance to see them perform a show with Krackdown, Sick of it All and Raw Deal in CBGB'S. It would be great to see them perform again in the Big Apple!! Further Info

Now everyone knows we aren't sneaker fiends like the many collectors that search the web looking for the exclusives but with these right here I just felt the need to post it. I mean, it reminds me of the very first time these dropped in 1992. I went and copped my pair at Dr. Jays on Main St. in Flushing and caught a rap with this fine Dominican/West Indian girl at the register who was the sweetest thing!! Anyhoo the original dream team Jordans were fresh to death!!! That was a squad:Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Christian Laettner, Karl Malone,Chris Mullin,Scottie Pippen, David Robinson & John Stockton. So in celebration of the Beijing 2008 Olympics Jordan Brand is releasing this special edition Jordan VI.

Sometimes you come across certain videos that people send you links to that just make you laugh or make you think ..."wow heads got a lot of time on their hands to pull shit off like this". With that in mind I can't help but get the feeling that this will either end up as some Levi's commercial or some kind of Gap ad.

Flash-Back....Move-Forward....

This is the original E.O.S. graff crew that traveled on many missions, too many places. Some don't speak, some ain't around, but as time went on and others joined the family we stood strong.
That's what makes Elements Of Style and what made Mothergreen & H.K.M...
Oh I'm not in the flic... Cause I took it..
This a pic of us circa 92-93 chillin with Frosty Freeze RSC (Rock Steady Crew) R.I.P.

For y'all that don't know, but need to know.....
I can't recall if these were taken while we were on a mission going thru the Freedom Tunnels or some Amtrack lines. Regardless we went on missions to collect flicks. That was the only way you were able to get a good pics of the pieces you liked.

P.R. Parade 1997..Nobody was doing it like this..We got down with Stress Magazine & killed it. We locked down the block then had the crazy after party at the original LQ's... Check out Lex from Hitlist entertainment in his hay days...
A Pic of the EOS Girls during the PR parade in 97 with Puffy and Mase.
We had a lot of fun this night circa 95-96. This was before heads started getting names for themselves in the music biz. You have us acting up with Lord Tariq and Minnestoa from Money Boss Players and on the far right is John Forte from Refugee Camp fame. Keep your head up Forte, we got you mind and spirit brother!!!!
This was another rare moment. This might have also been around 1996.
EOS - Eli, Oxini and Saviour
Here we are in our first trip to Tokyo in 1997
Thanks to Kirk - Expansion and T who were our distributors at the time we got a chance to meet a number of upcoming artists & DJ's who are now super stars out in Japan. This is us with DJ Muro - King of Diggin'.
You got a pic of only 3 of the PNB Nation crew out of the many who helped spark this industry and set the tone for the way a lot of things looked and were done. This was at a MAGIC show or back then there used to be a BLACK MAGIC show. Brue, Zulu, and West.
This was one of the first crew pics taken of the Alphanumeric team around 1998. From left to right you have Saves, Flo aka Flotorious, Tahlif, Omar (Commonwealth), Sal Masekela, Alyasha, DJ Style, Irons and Bam from Hellz-Bellz . Dudes have come a long ways since then.
Another classic moment here. The team acting up during MAGIC in Las Vegas. From right to left you have Emil Soriano(Crooks & Castles), Saves, Ryan Cross, Dao-Yi Chow(Public School), Sung Choi (Clae), Asaud aka The Original Mr. Bean, Anthony "Tony Bones" Harrison, Hector Posada(Triko) and Sal Masekela. 1998
This was too funny, we got to take a pic with The Misfits. Not sure what they were up to at MAGIC but we couldn't pass up an opportunity like this.
This was at ASR. Aly, Eli, Tabosan (RIP), Saves and Ike.
We were all in Van Couver for this one. Here's a pic of the team hangin out with Damon Morris - Lee Smith, Spencer Fujimoto, Colt Cannon, Marc Appleyard, Kareem Campbell.
Great times with the team when we broke bread!! Forest aka F.O.R.E, Scott Downing aka Sweat Dogg, Colt, Spence, Jaime, Steve Young, Saves, Damon and Todd Jordan.
This was at a demo in Virgina Beach. We went to support Jun (In4mation). Jaime Reyes, Jun Jo, Jason Bogle and Saves
Not too many group photos of the A# team like this. We used to get fresh to let the people know how we do!!! L to R: Saves, Damon, Flo, Sal, Shawn aka Kento and Aly.

Sometimes you just don't realize how many pictures you have until you begin to go through and dig. You begin to realize how many people you've been fortunate to be around as well as share in all those experiences.
