This installment of Old School Monday's has a bit of New York titled songs. I figured since Jay-Z's Empire State song is getting so much love why not show just a few videos that help show the long list of NY anthems. Unfortunately there are some many other songs that don't have videos for them.

This video captured such a great feel for NYC. I mean
just the thought of riding around the deuce (Times Square)
at night with all the lights made it unreal.


When this song dropped on the soundtrack to
the movie Juice it was still a classic.
Major Tri-State appeal!!


Although this isn't a New York song I still decided
to add it just to introduce the song to follow.


Yeppers, This was all during the "East vs West" beef
but it was still a banger. So many NYC Pride songs
were dropped around this time. We've come a long
way people.
