Birds With No Feathers

While digging around another blog I came across this video. At first I truly passed it by because it wasn't something I was familiar with. Glad I didn't pass it up because once I went into the post and watched the video I was open. I mean the music is cool but the video struck a soft spot. It made me recall one my sci-fi animation experiences as a kid which leads me to one of my favorite movies, Heavy Metal. Now when that movie came out I wasn't even a teen yet but my Big bro put me up on it and I've been hooked since. In the post we did on Simon Bisley I wrote how O Doggs and me share the same admiration and also have a nice little collection of these magazines. These magazines were/are so inspirational. Since the movies premiere in 1981 it is still one of my favorite pieces of american animation at it's best. They just don't care to do animation like this anymore all because of the computer. Enjoy the clips that I found and maybe you'll dig up the video and experience it for yourselves.
